ABOUT US

Vivian Zhang received her doctorate degree from New England College of Optometry (Boston, Massachusetts) after an early completion of her undergraduate degree in Honour Science at the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Zhang has received extensive training in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide array of visual and ocular conditions at University of Maryland and Boston Veterans Affairs Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Zhang had specialized training in pediatric (strabismus, amblyopia and myopia control) and glaucoma during her time overseas at WenZhou Medical University/Hospital of China. During the course of her professional development, Dr. Zhang also had the opportunity to work with Ophthalmologists assisting in various procedures pertaining to ocular conditions such as Cataract and Glaucoma.

Dr Zhang is an active member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is board certified by the both American and Canadian Examiners in Optometry as well as Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents in Canada. She has been proudly practicing full scope optometry in Ontario since 2015. She enjoys working with patients of all ages. She is attentive to her patient’s concerns and strives to partner with them to make eye care an integral part of their health.
